Being a follower of Jesus, being a christian, being a Jesus lover - simple. Not easy. Jesus tells us in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. This means that we work from a place of rest; not to work for rest. This means you are not meant to do any of this life on your own. The void we are all trying to fill is found in Jesus. In Jesus alone is where we find true rest we are all longing for. With this though comes surrender, honesty, and having transparent conversations; starting with yourself. How do we love God? How do we love others? How do we keep the main commandment of Loving God and Loving People? We are putting a whole new meaning to K.I.S.S. - Keep It Simple Sister! This is an episode you don't want to miss!
