The reason why God does not heal everybody, because I witnessed it. I listened to someone this morning talk about how she was healed from stomach cancer, and that's what my grandma died of, and she immediately got sick and died in three months. Okay? I believe the reason, one of the reasons why my grandma was not healed is because grief from losing her son when he was three took over her body. Anger by how she was treated by her family after her son died. Uh, fear, anxiety, and doubt. She lived there. She lived there all the time. And so even though she smoked for 60 years and quit immediately when she found out she had cancer. Hello and welcome to another Fearless Friday. We are ecstatic. Today is gonna be simply amazing because it is Jesus, Holy Spirit, and God living in and through us and speaking to us today. I'm one of your hosts, Tina. And I'm the other one, Sarah. Yeah, we're bringing that Holy Spirit fire. Yes, we are, and we know, we know, we know that wherever God is growing, molding, shaping, building us, creating us a new creation, the enemy is too. So we're gonna open in prayer today. A little different, but we feel called to do that. Father God, thank you for today. Thank you for life. Thank you for the gift of our breath. Thank you for the sun that is shining, Father God. Thank you for this wonderful day. And I pray that words that we speak are only your words, Father God. Anything that is not from you falls away, and we are protected by your armor, Father God, that no weapon that tries to form against us will prosper because your mighty name wins above all else. And we thank you and we praise you. All of these things we say, and the church says, Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. What are we talking about today?

SPEAKER_00

We're talking about that Holy Spirit. We are still in this um realm of a collection, if you will, on the Holy Spirit gift.

SPEAKER_01

So this one is all about healing, which is so powerful.

SPEAKER_00

And it's nothing that man can do, it's everything that Holy Spirit can do in and through man.

SPEAKER_01

She said what she said because it's true, because it's in the word, the Bible, the book, the bible, the basic instruction before leaving earth. It is God breathed. Every single word is from the Holy Spirit. It is a man was a vessel, but it is God speaking through them. And I just, that's so powerful that every word in this book is the Holy Spirit.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it is crazy, awesome sauce.

SPEAKER_01

It's God speaking through in the Holy Spirit to these men, breathing life into our mortal bodies. So we're gonna start Romans chapter 8, which is funny because my like title is Life in the Spirit. How fitting.

SPEAKER_00

The capital S, Spirit.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. Yes, I love it. And we're gonna go right down to 11. If the spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, so when you're baptized, when you choose Jesus, when you make him the Lord of your life, he is living in you. He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal. Oh, that's what I just said, to your mortal bodies through his spirit who dwells in you. Anything good, anything uh praiseworthy, any masterpiece, anything majestic is Jesus. It's the Holy Spirit, it's God in and through us.

SPEAKER_00

And real love, real joy, real peace, real self-control, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, all is Jesus. It's all his characteristics that are in the Holy Spirit power that he gives us when we grow and mature in Christ.

SPEAKER_01

And when you relinquish control over your life, over your choices, and you give it to God and his spirit indwells, it is so powerful to witness the closer you are to his truth, the closer you are to him, the closer you are to following this word, the closer you are to love, like pure love, and it's undeniable that you will hear the voice of the voice of truth, which is God, so much clearer when you're walking in the spirit, which is the spirit of truth.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, and this book is controversial because this is absolute truth, and we've said this before on the podcast because there is no such thing as relative truth, because if truth was relative, nothing is actually truthful. That's why the word says that it cuts like a double-edged sword through bone and through marrow, because it is meant to do surgery in and through you from the inside out. Because if you're truly studying the word in the word, then it it drops from your head to your heart and out to your hands. So it the word says be a doer of the word, not just a hearer of it. And that's what this podcast is all about to help you be more of a doer in the world and utilize these Holy Spirit gifts so the world we live in is a better place than what we found it as.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I love that. That's so good, and it's such a release when you realize you don't have to be the one doing that.

SPEAKER_00

No, it ain't me. Anything good in anybody if they're walking with the Lord is the Lord.

SPEAKER_01

Well, and it's like once you release that control and you feel that peace and you realize God is ordering the steps, it's like, oh, that debacle or that debate with that friend, like, God, it's all yours. I don't, I don't need it, I don't want it. And then he handles it. Any stress or worry or concern or fear or doubt or anxiety, God, that's not from you. Take it. Oh, what a relief.

SPEAKER_00

Surrender. Simple, not easy. Because we live in a world full of like, oh, let me tell you about all my problems. Oh, let me dwell on everything that's going wrong. That's the world's way. Yeah, we do it all the opposite because we don't we don't live, we're not from here, we just live here. Yeah, and it's just for a moment of time. So, what are we doing in the moments? We want the Holy Spirit fire to activate deep with inside each and every one of us who the Holy Spirit dwells in, so we can live these gifts out to the fullest again to make heaven more crowded and make this world a better place. So if you are called and you have the gift of healing, brother, sister, we want you to use it.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, so yes, the Bible, we're gonna go to it. Go ahead. Yeah, I'm gonna go into Ephesians 2.10. Yes. I highly, highly encourage you to look at Ephesians 2.10, whatever it is in your version, because there's masterpiece, there's workmanship, there's there's lots of different ways that it's worded. Mine is the English stand, ESV, and it says, for we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. What does it say in your version?

SPEAKER_00

So mine is the living Bible, also known as like, you know, the hippie Bible. Um, 210 in Ephesians. It is God Himself who has made us what we are given and given us new lives from Christ Jesus. And long ages ago, he planned that we should spend these lives in helping others. So the life we get is from Jesus, and what are we doing here? Well, we're helping others, and how do we do that? It's God himself who made us that way to do this in our new lives from Jesus, and Jesus left us a gift when he left earth and ascended into heaven, awaiting to return. He left us the gift of the Holy Spirit.

SPEAKER_01

You know, as I am hearing you talk, I'm thinking to myself, you know, that spiritual gifts test you've taken, I've taken, we've talked about taking it maybe on here. I think what happens sometimes is people are so focused on their lowest score, which is not what God has called them to do, which is why you take the test. So you know where the gifts are that he's given you, and someone just sent me their gifts, and it's like whatever those are, whatever those top gifts are, let God work in and through you, because if you're diminishing what he, if you're diminishing anything in you that he's trying to create, you're diminishing God, and that's quenching the Holy Spirit.

SPEAKER_00

It's like we've talked about this before: the hose. The hose is flowing out water, but the moment there's kinks in it, there's less of that water coming out, and we don't want to do that with the Holy Spirit, we want to have that full flow, and so the beautiful thing about knowing what your gifts are, because there's a there's nine of them, God wants you to ask and pray for all of them. There's no um setback or you can only have one and not the other. People have more strength than certain ones and maybe less than others, but that's the beautiful thing of why we're called the body of Christ. Because if Tina's great at one thing and I'm great at a different thing, and she has she's more strength where I'm weaker. Well, when we come together, now we're the powerhouse, not because of anything we can do, but everything that God is doing in and through us. It's the Holy Spirit over and over and over. I'm gonna keep saying that.

SPEAKER_01

The Holy Spirit. I'm so glad you use that analogy. Like this, this is a depiction of like God working. As you know, we don't practice, we only pray. We don't like like decide what we're gonna do, we let the Holy Spirit lead. And just as you were saying that, I'm reading about Peter and John when the were is that where you were? No. Okay, so like thank God. Peter and John in Acts, yes, literally. In Acts 3, I'm gonna read the story because it's about two people who were filled with the Holy Spirit who went out to do what God, what Jesus directed them to do after they were filled with the Holy Spirit, after they were in the upper room. Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour, and a man lame from birth was being carried, whom they lay daily, whom yeah, whom they lay daily at the gate of the temple that is called the beautiful gate to ask alms of those entering the temple. Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive alms. Can you look up what ALMS is?

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Alms and Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, Look at us. And he fixed his attention on them, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, I have no silver and gold, but what I do have, I give to you.

SPEAKER_00

It's exactly what you just said: money, goods, services.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, and act of charity, mercy, and righteousness.

SPEAKER_01

Awesome, thank you.

SPEAKER_00

It's a Greek word that comes from Ely Mosini. Don't quote me on that. I'm probably saying it wrong, but it's translates to pity or compassion.

SPEAKER_01

Oh wow. I have no silver and gold, but what I do have, I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk. And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong, and leaping up, he stood and began to walk and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God. And now, here there's so much powerfulness in this. The guy thinks that he is going to be made well with money. He's and they're like, No, like the bread of life is what is going to nourish you. And so then it's he gives him his hand. We are called to take people's hands and help them and lead them and guide them, but he has to get up, he has to do the work, right?

SPEAKER_00

I love the part where Peter's the one doing this, right? But it's not in the name of Peter, it's in the name of Jesus Christ because there's one name above all names, and it's Jesus, and there's power in that name. Demons flee when they hear that name, and that's why he was able, through Peter, because of the Holy Spirit, had the power in Jesus' name to make this man walk.

SPEAKER_01

And recognized him as the one who sat at the beautiful gate of the temple asking for elms, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what happened to him. And he was leaping and praising God. And I think in your moments when you are in such agony, you have pain in your body somewhere, you have pain in your heart, whatever sickness you're going through, and you all of a sudden, all of a sudden. And that's what that said, too. I mean, yeah, crazy. You feel relief. You have no other option but to praise God because who else could do it? Even even thinking of doctors and how they give you tools, they give you drugs, they give you some kind of satisfaction to alleviate the pain. But the ultimate physician, the ultimate healer is God, the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. And now that Jesus is not with us on earth anymore, being filled with his Holy Spirit, we have that same power that raised Christ from the dead living in us. Preach. And he will do greater works than us or than him. We will do greater works than him with him living in and through us.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, and this is I love when the Holy Spirit bounces back and forth like this because I want to go to scripture on what she just said. This is Acts 3, so a little bit before what Tina just read is where we're going. This is Acts 3, verse 33 onward. It says, and now this is talking about Jesus. And now Jesus sits on the throne of highest honor in heaven. Acts 3, verse 33.

SPEAKER_01

I don't you're not in Acts 3 33. There's no Acts 33.

SPEAKER_00

I'm in Acts 2.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

The top of my page says Acts 3. Okay, okay, good. I'm in Acts 2. This is a human being talking. Okay, now this is Acts 2, verse 33. And now he sits on the next on the throne of the highest honor in heaven next to God, talking about Jesus. And just as promised, the Father gave him the authority to send the Holy Spirit with the results you are seeing and hearing today. That's crazy. Wow. And so I want to jump down because he continues on and he's talking about what's going on, and Peter is in awe. And Peter replies to what he just heard, and he turns to um the disciples or whoever's there and says it says Peter replied. This is verse number 38. Each one of you must turn from sin, return to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you also shall receive this gift, the Holy Spirit. For Christ promised him to each one of you who has been called by the Lord our God, and to your children, and even those to even to those in distant lands.

SPEAKER_01

Wow. Wow.

SPEAKER_00

And then it goes on to what you had just read about Peter and John.

SPEAKER_01

Well, it's amazing that you read that because we were just talking about how you, as an adult or a young adult, I've heard it happen with teenagers, and I think it's amazing. They still need someone to walk alongside of them on their journey as they mature in Christ, just like I do. It just shifts a little bit as you get older. But, anyways, point is you Jesus was baptized, okay? The King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, who knew no sin, made sin for us all, was baptized. Don't you think that you should be baptized as well if the King of Kings was baptized? And uh we've we've talked about baptism. Go read go listen to that podcast. It's a very good one, but that's a perfect directive of what you're you might be like, what's my next step? Where do I go? What do I do? How do I be filled with the Holy Spirit? Baptism. Baptism. And I I was baptized, I shared last week. I was baptized, but then after I was baptized, I realized, I learned, God filled me with his wisdom through a brother in Christ that there is baptism of the Holy Spirit.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, and you see that. First of all, Jesus is baptized by his cousin, John the Baptist, and he's baptizing him in water. And when he comes up out of the water, that's when the Holy Spirit as a dove dwells on, I think it was Jesus' shoulder or his head, something like that. Don't quote me, read your Bible. I'm just a you know girl, and so but like then he went out, and you then Jesus started his ministry full of power by the Holy Spirit.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And the Holy Spirit has always been and ever will be. It was the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit at the very beginning of time. There are certain places that you see the power move in each and every one of the trinities. And Tina saw that in the very beginning. We're gonna go all the way to the beginning of the Bible. Genesis 1.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, girl. Which I just I love this. Then God said, and then like words have power. There is key here. Let us make man in our image after our likeness. Okay?

SPEAKER_00

Yes, Genesis 126.

SPEAKER_01

And let them let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, on and on and on. Down to 27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God, he created him. Male and female, he created them. Like, we are in God's image. He created us with Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

SPEAKER_00

So this debunks everything that you learn in secular schools that we just somehow evolutionized from apes. Like, first of all, we are prettier than apes, okay? Y'all are prettier than apes or more handsome than them. And so that's a very big diss on like what God has done in and through mankind, okay? And it wasn't just a happenstance or this, you know, explosion by accident. So Genesis 1, one and on, debunks everything that science tries to tell you in school. So I just wanna throw that out there.

SPEAKER_01

And I just pray right now that the Holy Spirit speaks in and through you if you are listening to this and if you have not fully accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior. Yes. He is the nothing we say is gonna be like, oh, that's it, I'm a believer. Tina and Sarah said so. No, it's gonna be the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking in and through you. If you're unsure, I've seen people who are unsure who are are atheists or they don't believe in God, and then they come around us and they can't get away from us. And it's not us, it is Jesus living in and through us. So I pray for that same spirit to just indwell in you. And if there's someone you're surrounded by that is not a believer, don't let the your spirit, the spirit of the living God, quench what he is doing in and through you for that other person. We don't know what God is doing. The reason why that Jesus has not come back yet is because he is so patient with us and we are not ready for him to come. The bride is not prepared yet for him to come, and he's so patient with us, he's giving you that same spirit of patience, which is also called long-suffering, to be that for the person who doesn't know yet the glory of God. And I know that I've been there, I know you've been there, I'm sure you've been there. Be a light to all who are living in the shadows. Amen.

SPEAKER_00

Amen. And the whole point, the patience part, uh the Bible says a thousand years is a day to God. I mean, he's outside of time. And every day that passes, we are getting closer to when Jesus is going to return. And we've talked about this several times on here. Teeny weeny recap. Jesus is not coming as your savior this time, he's already done that. He's going to be coming as the judge. And you want to be, you get to decide which side you want to be on. The side that is going with Jesus or the side that has been against Jesus. Because every knee is gonna bow and every tongue is going to confess that Jesus is Lord. And with that being said, if you find yourself in between, I challenge you today because what better day to be saved than today? Because we are not guaranteed tomorrow to give your life to Christ and see what he can do with it, because there's so much more that he has for you than what you are living right now. We are walking testimonies of that. That's why we have other people come on here and share their testimonies of who they were before Christ and who they are now. And the coolest thing about living in Christ and having the Holy Spirit dwell within you is you are continuously being molded to quote perfection. We will never get there in this lifetime. However, each and every day we have the option, we have the ability to get more and more like Jesus. And that's the most exciting part because you never arrive, so there's always the next thing to be done, and there's always that's why there's no comparison because whatever God is doing in you is beautiful, and whatever God's doing in you is beautiful, and we're all on the same journey, different um speeds. We're all on God's speed, God's time. I saw this awesome analogy yesterday. It was talking about a train, and you know, people get on at 6:30, people get on at 8.15, people get on at 9:30, and they're all suited up and ready to go. And they're, you know, if your 6:30 uh train arrives, you're probably waiting there at like 5:30, 5:45, maybe, and you're with those people that are around that are gonna go to the 6:30. Well, they're not gonna come come into encounter the people that are on the 815. And so when you're crossing paths with somebody somewhere else, and you're like, Well, what is going on with you? I'm so jealous of you because you're farther ahead than me. It's like, no, we're on the same path, but we're just doing it in different times because we're supposed to meet different people, we're supposed to do different things. So we're crossing paths at the perfect time when we're supposed. Supposed to, and so we can't judge somebody who's on the 9:30 train and I'm on the 815 and somebody else is on the 6:30 because we're all going different places that the Holy Spirit has called us to go.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that's so good. And it's the same thing with the gifts, right? Like Paul talks about I I wish you would all speak in tongues. I I I pray that you desire to have all the gifts because that's what he wants for you. But sometimes I think what happens is we lose our faith in God and we don't realize that these gifts that we have aren't ours, we don't own them. God has given them to us, so they are a gift, but it is him in our hands working in and through the healing. And when when I put my hands on someone to heal them, it is not me that's doing it. And even you, the woman, the woman with the issue of blood, we've talked about this numerous times. We always go back to this, I feel like.

SPEAKER_00

It was her faith in him that she reached out to just touch the garment of Jesus. She's like, if I could just get close to him, if I could just touch him, I don't even have to talk to him. Yeah, if I could just touch his presence, he can heal me. And her faith that day healed her.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

It wasn't the physical touching of Jesus, it was the faith that she had that if she only just could reach for him.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and so I as that's a great, beautiful depiction, visual picture. So if someone were to heal hands, put hands on you and heal you, it is not the person's hands. It is not the person, it is your faith in the Holy Spirit, their faith in the Holy Spirit coming together where two or more are gathered. There he is in the midst of them, healing your pain in your body.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah or whatever it is, whether that's mental, physical, spiritual, emotional, you name it. God is the Jehovah Rapha healer.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

The cool thing about Jesus is when you get close to him, you are not the same. That is the awesome part about the woman at with the issue of blood. That's why when she got close and she did touch him, she was immediately healed because her faith in him changed her. And she had like it was like 14 or something years. Yeah. It wasn't as long as the Bathsheba, not Bathsheba, um, the man, the 38 years old.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, at the pool at Bethesda.

SPEAKER_00

Bethesda, yes. Yes, Bethesda.

SPEAKER_01

Um, so I as you were talking, I was led to 2 Peter 1 verse 3. His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence. Wow. Excellence. He will show you the most excellent way.

SPEAKER_00

He will. I want to read it in mine just because why not? This is again 1 Peter verse 3. Oh, you're in 1 Peter? Oh, 2 Peter chapter 1. Jeez Louise, Sarah, get it together. Okay, 2 Peter chapter 1, verse number 3. For as you know him better, he will give you. Ooh! Whoa, I'm holy woman. So when you know Jesus better, he will give you better. Better together? Yeah, further, faster, faster, better together. So good. So let's keep going. It says, through his great power, his power, everything you need for living a truly good life. He even shares his own glory and his own goodness with us. That's just so awesome. Does he even have to do that?

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna, I want just because that just is so good. Like, this is why we need in different versions. You have your own theological study here. So, 2 Peter 1, verse 3 in the NIV, which is so cool because the title in the NIV is Confirming One's Calling and Election. Whatever your calling is, he's calling out to you right now. His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through through these, he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. Oh my gosh, that's so good.

SPEAKER_00

Because when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you're no longer a slave to the things that you used to be. Thank you, God. You don't, you're not bound by the world. The reason why there's this struggle between going back to the old ways when you are now in Christ is because that is your flesh versus your spirit. And we've talked about whatever you're feeding more is going to grow more. And so you have everything that you need with inside you to flee from temptation, to walk away. And you know, I'm preaching an ice spoon feed. I mean, God does this every time that we that we have we do an episode, whatever we're saying, we eat it right back. Okay, so I'm just saying we're both going through it. We're all yeah, we're going through it and we learn as we talk, seriously. So learn do teach.

SPEAKER_01

Learn do teach. Yeah, learn do teach.

SPEAKER_00

Learn do serve. That's a new thing that I learned this weekend. Learn do serve. And so, all to say is we're not going to be perfect, but we have the Holy Spirit if we're not quenching him, who will guide us a way out, who will give us direction to step away from, that we can flee from, that we don't have to go back because our nate our sinful nature wants the old way. But we don't want to be dogs who go back to eating their own vomit. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_01

No, that absolutely. I'm gonna go. I just want to share about 1 Corinthians 12, 7. And this is the spiritual gifts. 1 Corinthians 12 is the spiritual gifts, it breaks them down, tells you what each of them are. And in this sentence, I mean it's Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts from God, all the things, spirit of God. But in seven it says, To each is given the manifestation of the spirit for the common good. This sentence alone has been ripped apart, shredded, and tried to be destroyed by the enemy. Manifestation can only be done in the spirit with the power of God. That's it. Nothing else can do what God can do. It can try, we talked about this at the beginning. Well, we talked about this before we got on, about how gifts are given to people before you accept Christ. I had the gift of prophecy. I didn't know what it was before I accepted Christ, and I utilized it in other ways, not honoring God. And let me tell you that life was not good. It was turmoil, it was not peace. Anyways, 1 Corinthians 12:7. To each is given the manifestation of the spirit for the common good, and then go down to nine, to another faith by the same spirit, to another gifts of healing by one spirit. In the Bible, Jesus said, the Holy Spirit, God breathed, we are given the gifts of healing. You are given the gifts of healing if you ask for it. I'm given it, she's given it. The only reason, I believe not the only reason, I don't want to put in words, but the reason why God does not heal everybody, because I've witnessed it. I listened to someone this morning talk about how she was healed from stomach cancer, and that's what my grandma died of, and she immediately got sick and died in three months. Okay. I believe the reason, one of the reasons why my grandma was not healed is because grief from losing her son when he was three took over her body. Anger by how she was treated by her family after her son died, uh, fear, anxiety, and doubt. She lived there. She lived there all the time. And so even though she smoked for 60 years and quit immediately when she found out she had cancer, all of these other diseases took over her body and she died. This woman, and I'm not, please be sensitive to what I'm hearing. I'm not saying this to be truth. This is my own experience. This woman who I was hearing talk about her stomach cancer, she got it during COVID. She was super healthy, she took care of herself, all the things. I shouldn't have this. She's sitting in the hospital room. Her husband dropped her off in her pajamas with nothing else. And he couldn't see her, he couldn't visit her. She was sick in the hospital room, and she had a peace that surpasses understanding because her faith in Jesus was so strong. She could hear his voice audibly. We're supposed to hear his voice audibly. He tells us we're supposed to hear his voice audibly. The reason why you don't is because everything else is so loud and his voice is still calm and peaceful. And this woman was healed because all she had was God, and she knew that was all she needed. And she was able to then utilize that gift of healing that God gave her to go out and help many, and she's doing it now. That was before she wrote the book, obviously. And now she helps people heal in the name of Jesus.

SPEAKER_00

That's amazing.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

What's the book called?

SPEAKER_01

Uh, The Divine Counselor, which is the Holy Spirit.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, he is. He's our counselor, he's our comforter, he's our convictor, he's our everything.

SPEAKER_01

And as as I witness being on both sides, I was one way before Jesus, entered Jesus another way, and I I I see the pain. I see it all around. I I hear so many people's suffering of the pain in their bodies, the pain in their heart, the pain in their mind. He can heal you. He can. I I truly believe it. If there is any part of you who doesn't feel that you can be healed, I think it's 1 John 1 9 or 1 John 4.9. Confess. Confess your sins to him. He is faithful and just to forgive you. And once you confess, once you forgive, once you realize you are forgiven by no works that you've done, it is him who died on the cross for you, you will be healed. I mean, like I told you, like I have this pain in my neck. Uh, yep. So I don't care that it's a shattered T2 and T3. I do what God directs me to do. I heal. I have tools, I use the tools. I don't just let them sit on my counter and God, why aren't you healing me? Right? Anyways, I'm done. You get what I'm saying, go to the Bible.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. Um, I want to go to it. This is Matthew, so this is Jesus uh healing. And it says, Jesus teaches with authority on the top of my page. So this is authority because you have authority in Christ, and he has authority from the Father. Jesus says, anything that I do, I see the Father doing it first.

SPEAKER_01

Dude, I was literally praying this last night. I was literally praying this. I'm like, we gotta talk about this tomorrow. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_00

That is, I didn't know that. How would I know that? Okay, read it. Okay, so this is um chapter eight, Matthew. Oh my god. So it says, large crowds followed Jesus as he came down the hillside. Look, a leper is approaching. He kneels before him, worshiping. Sir, the leper pleads, if you want to, you can heal me. Jesus touched the man. I want to. He says, Be healed. And instantly the leprosy disappears. Then Jesus says to him, Don't stop to talk to anyone. Go right over to the priest to be examined and take with you the offering required by Moses. Moses' law for lepers who are healed, a public testimony of your cure. And then he keeps healing. Says when Jesus arrived in Capernaum, a Roman army captain came and fled with him to come to his home and heal his servant boy who was in bed paralyzed and racked with pain. I gotta pause there because this person, this Roman army captain, has been looking at what he's doing and has enough faith that Jesus, this man who is not of his, is a Jew. They're very much unliked and uh under um slavery with the Romans, they are in charge of everything. And this Roman army captain sees what this Jew Jesus is doing and says, Hey, this guy's healed before, and I am desperate. I need a miracle. I know this guy can heal, and I have done everything that I know what to do, but this guy is the real deal. And he says, I know you can heal my servant boy who was in bed paralyzed and wracked with pain. And Jesus says, Yes, I will come and heal him. Ah, okay, and it gets even better. It says, Then the officer said, Sir, I am not worthy to have you come in my home. And is it even necessary for you to come in my home if you will only stand here? Wow. And say, Be healed, my servant will get well. I know because I am under the authority of my superior officers, and I have authority over my soldiers. And I say to one, go and he goes, and to another, come and he comes. And to my slave boy, do this or do that, and he does it. And I know you have the authority to tell this sickness to go and it will. Are you ready?

SPEAKER_01

Let's go.

SPEAKER_00

This is verse 10, Matthew chapter 8. Jesus stood there amazed. Turning to the crowd, he said, I haven't seen faith like this in all the land of Israel. And I tell you that this man, that this many Gentiles, like the Roman officer, shall come from all over the world and sit down in the kingdom of heaven with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and many an Israelite, those for whom the kingdom was prepared, shall be cast into the outer darkness, into the place as weeping and torment. And Jesus said to the Roman officer, Go home. What you have believed has happened, and the boy was healed that same hour. And he and Jesus keeps healing that day. Then he goes to Peter's mother-in-law, and that she had a fever, and Jesus touched her. But the awesome thing about this in-between healing, so first he touches the leprosy man, immediately healed. Then this Roman who is under the authority of Roman gods and don't they don't believe in anything of the one true God, the Israelites God, um, under captivity, they're in charge of the Jews, putting them to work and treating them pretty poorly. And this Roman is like, hey, you don't even have to come into my house today. I know you can heal him just by standing there because I tell people what to do, and you tell people what to do, and you can tell this heal, this sickness to leave. And like just what Tina was talking about earlier, your faith. It is nothing that we can do, it is the faith that you have in Jesus Christ. And Jesus keeps healing after that. He touches Peter's mother-in-law, who was in bed with a high fever, touched her hand, the fever left. This person was demon-possessed, like healed on and on and on. And then Jesus says that the same spirit that lives in him will live in us.

SPEAKER_01

That's how we open. That was Romans 8.11. I'm reading that right now. Romans 8.11. The spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you. He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his spirit who dwells in you. We are dead in our sins and our trespasses. Christ made us alive. Then you go to 1 Corinthians 6.19. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? 2 Timothy 1.14. Guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us. Galatians 2.20. I've been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith. I'm gonna keep going. First Corinthians. So when you think that, oh, I'm not Jesus, I can't do that. Yeah, you are a little Jesus right up in here. There's a little Jesus right here.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

But the thing is, is you don't want to stay you and Jesus, and nobody else knows that Jesus lives in you. You want to go out and be the salt of the world, the light, the city built on a hill for all to see. And it's not because of you and how good you are, because your doo-doo stinks just as much as mine. And it's Christ who lives in you that is shining brightly in and through you.

SPEAKER_01

Acts 1.8. You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes to you. Romans 8.9. You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh, but are in the realm of the Spirit, which is what you said before. It if indeed the Spirit lives in you, and if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. Okay. Y'all need to read your Bible. We do.

SPEAKER_00

Wow. I want to end with this because we've been in Acts, we've been in Genesis, we've been in Ephesians, Romans, we've been in the Gospels. I mean, continue reading the Gospels. You'll know more and more about who Jesus is so you know who you're becoming like. But I want to end with this because I don't think it's an accident that this is where my Bible led me to. Because I want you to I want this to be an encouraging for you because you will come against people because you're never fighting people, you're fighting against the principalities and the spiritual realm of the spirits behind that person. Ephesians 6 10. So this is Matthew chapter 13 verse 57. Says, then Jesus told them, A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own country and among his own people. And so he did only a few great miracles there because of their unbelief.

SPEAKER_01

Wow, wow, that like brings it all full circle. And you know, you said something before, and you only touched on it a little bit, and I want to bring it back around because even Jesus, oh I t did I text that to you? Even Jesus, who was Lord, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, did nothing without hearing from his father. I can do nothing without hearing from my father. So why would we think we could do anything without hearing from the spirit? But also we can do all things through Christ who lives in us and gives us strength.

SPEAKER_00

Amen. And maybe perhaps you know you were created for this moment for such a time as this. Yes. So light up that Holy Spirit within you. I hope this like this light just permeates out and through, and we just have wildfire all up wherever you are, whether you're in Northwest Indiana like we are, or you're all the way in Timbuktu, I don't know where you are, but light that place up on fire and don't you fret if because you're gonna have a target behind you. If you are coming against people who don't like what you're saying, don't like what you're doing, and you're doing all the things for the kingdom, you're doing something right. Amen.

SPEAKER_01

And that's the power, the power of healing. I pray that you earnestly seek it. And next week, what are we gonna do? Miracles? Here we go. Let's go. Have a beautifully blessed, fearless Friday.
